I have known Robert for about 5 years. He is a teacher and coach at the same school where I am a counselor (yes…I have another full time job!). He has become a great friend and we have worked together on a number of initiatives and building a summer program. When he first started dating Tamara, the smile on that man’s face was ginormous. They had known each other previously, and when they met again it just clicked. He proposed in the most Instagram worthy way possible – including a marching band, cheerleaders and someone singing to her….adorable. And that is what they are together, adorable. They have blended their families beautifully, she with a 14 year old daughter, he with a 12 year old son. And when I offered to do family photos, Tamara was beautifully pregnant with their first child together. I love that this session was both the celebration of the upcoming birth of their daughter, and the blending of two beautiful families.
